For our third concert, Guest Artistic Director Stephen Pu has selected a program of contemporary music you are sure to love.  Starting the show with exciting Alleluias and other joyous melodies, including Lauridsen's awesome "O Magnum Mysterium," you will hear music of inspiration and wonder.  In the second half, you will hear the Premiere of Stephen's delightful "Out of the Box,"and then you will follow a whirl-wind journey through "Pure Imagination" from Willie Wonka, through a magical chess game, with homage to the contemporary: HMC's rendition of the Mario Bros. theme, and "Baba Yetu" in Swahili; and at last a moment to reflect wth John Lennon's "Imagine."

Treat yourself to an afternoon of music that is "Out of the Box."  Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 4 pm at St. Ambrose Church in West Hollywood.

The first concert of our season, "Caroling, Caroling," on December 6, 2015 at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church included unusual carols as well as familiar favorites.  In fact, many of the carols were requested by our fans.  Two carols by Dale Trumbore were premiered, commissioned as part of the "Christmas Past, Christmas Future!" 2015 Carol Consortium.  Back by popular demand was our Holiday Brass Quintet!

The chorale gave two performances of "Masterworks in March:  Schubert," on March 19, 2016 at Founder's Church, Los Angeles, and on March 20, 2016 at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church.  Featured were the well-loved "Mass in G," and an exciting tale of the parting of the Red Sea, "Mirjams Siegesgesang."  Guest Artistic Director, Christian Campos, selected the wonderful music, and masterfully conducted the concert.
