The Hollywood Master Chorale (HMC) has just concluded its 19th season. Artistic Director and Conductor, Dr. Lauren Buckley Schaer, programmed a rousing concert, "Voices of Freedom," which was part of the West Hollywood "One City One Pride" Arts Festival. Besides being inspired by the dynamic music, such as "The Testament of Freedom" by Randall Thompson with the words of Thomas Jefferson, the audience was delighted to join in on "Lift Every Voice and Sing" by the Johnson brothers.

To all the singers out there: we hope you will audition and join the chorale for its upcoming 20th Anniversary Season. Plans are in the works for three stunning concerts, and a special bonus Cabaret: "Stay Tuned!"

Since 1995, the HMC has performed all around the greater Los Angeles area. It has participated in civic and community events from mayoral inaugurations, to Being Alive's annual holiday parties, to a grandiose "Brass Festival LA" in December, 2013.

Dr. Buckley delights in engaging the audience, adding surprises and speical treats to each concert. The music is uplifting, challenging, and ultimately rewarding to hear. As a community chorale, the HMC enjoys working with other musicians and groups, such as the Ebell Chorale.
